Midyear Exchange Example Sign-Up

In this sign-up example, we are signing up as a creator who is both an artist and an author. Please remember that if you are signing up as only an artist or only an author, you should have only 1 request form and 1 offer form filled out.

Every participant will be initially matched to one other participant, regardless of if they're signing up as both an artist and an author.

REQUEST 1 (Author sign-up)

(Click for a larger image)

Fandoms
As an author, they have written at least 3 eligible works in Avengers Assemble, 3 eligible works in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and 3 eligible works in Iron Man Noir.

Relationship
Because their first request is their author sign-up, they will check "Art For Fic - Relationship" to indicate that they are 'requesting' artwork for their existing fic.

Additional Tags
Their 9+ works fall under the Alternative Universe, Angst, Canon Divergent/What-If and Fluffy/Happy tags. Even if in theory they're receptive to receiving Dark/Horror works, they did not check it off because none of their eligible works fall into that category.

Link to Fanworks
They've linked directly to their AO3 work page, where their stories can be found.

Additional Information
Here they've listed their Safe Story and Collaborative Works. Any work not listed here can be considered fair game for their gifter. If Likes and Do Not Wants were not detailed here, then their gifter is free to interpret their work freely in making their gift.

REQUEST 2 (Artist sign-up)

Fandoms
As an artist, they have drawn only MCU works and have at least 3 eligible works in that canon.

Relationship
Because their second request is their artist sign-up, they will check off "Fic for Art - Relationship" to indicate that they are 'requesting' fic for their existing artworks.

Additional Tags
Their 3+ eligible works fall under the Fluff/happy, humor/crack, and Kids/family tags.

Link to Fanworks
They've linked directly to their Tumblr art tag, where their fanart can be found.

Additional Information
Here they've listed their Collaborative Works and Crossovers; because they've listed crossovers, gifters should not create work for their crossover drawings. Any other work not listed here can be considered fair game for their gifter. Their gift cannot incorporate any of the Do Not Wants listed here either.

OFFER 1 (Author sign-up)

Fandoms
Participants can check off as many canons as they feel comfortable creating for. While they did not check off Marvel 1872 in their request sign-up, it is included here because the creator feels confident in writing stories for that canon.

Relationship
Because their first offer is their author sign-up, they will check off "Fic For Art - Relationship" to indicate that they are 'offering' fic for their recipient's existing artworks.

Additional Tags
The creator has checked off "Any Additional Tag" because they are comfortable with writing stories in any of the featured categories.

Additional Information
Here, they've listed who they do not want to be matched with. Because they did not say they can take on more than one assignment, the organizers will not contact them in case writers are needed for double assignments.

OFFER 2 (Artist sign-up)

Fandoms
As an artist, they only feel confident in drawing works in the Marvel Cinematic Universe canon and only checked off one canon.

Relationship
Because their second offer is their artist sign-up, they will check off "Art For Fic - Relationship" to indicate that they they are 'offering' art for their recipient's existing fic.

Additional Tags
Unlike their author sign-up, the creator can only draw works that fall under Fluff/happy, humor/crack, and Kids/family.

Additional Information
Here the creator has stated they can take on multiple assignments; if presented the opportunity, the organizers can match them with 2 different participants. Because they've stated that they cannot work with any explicit content, the organizers will do their best to ensure that they have stories to work with that are not rated E. Lastly, they've listed who they do not want to be matched with.

As mentioned, this participant will initially be matched to one other participant. Because they've signed up as both an artist and an author, they will be assigned to either write a story or draw fanart for another participant.

In the case we have more artists than authors signed up, this participant may only receive an assignment as an author. Because they did not state they can take on multiple writing assignments, they will be only matched once.

In the case we have more authors than artists signed up, this participant may receive 1-2 artist assignments.
